I, DERMOT AHERN, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform in
exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 16(1) of the Criminal Justice
(Surveillance) Act 2009 (No. 19 of 2009) hereby make the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Surveillance) Act
2009 (Written Record of Approval) (An Garda Sı´ocha´na) Regulations 2009.
2. In these Regulations ‘Act of 2009’ means the Criminal Justice
(Surveillance) Act 2009 (No. 19 of 2009).
3. The prescribed form of a written record of approval for the purposes of
section 7 of the Act of 2009 is Form 1 set out in the Schedule.
4. The prescribed form of a written record of approval for the purposes of
section 8 of the Act of 2009 is Form 2 set out in the Schedule.
Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in
“Iris Oifigiu´il” of 24th July, 2009.
